As you know my colleagues 1st A.M Pupils are going to learn English for the first time and they 've learnt French just for 3 years so if they were good in that language they will face troubles in studying English and also their age so try in the first contact to test their recognition to the Latin alphabet by checking if they well spell their full names because as I noticed some of the new Pupils don't differentiate between s and c so what about the English vowels ?then in the next step and in order not to use Arabic from your part teach them classroom LANGUAGE* as sit down ....stand up and so on.......
finally introduce days and months in order to make Pupils write the date daily by rows ...
This is what I've always used to do in my 14 years experience in teaching English in Primary and middle schools and I hope It will be helpful for every new teacher .Don't make the mistake of starting the program ...... ROME WASN'T BUILT IN ONE DAY try to prepare the Pupils gradually and smoothly so they will find it easy to practise the languageinside the classroom
Finally I hope you success in your noble job.
Accept my best salutations
B.M
